PeriSlayer Terms of Service

Section 1. What PeriSlayer is, and what it is not

PeriSlayer is a wellness app. It helps you track perimenopause symptoms, spot patterns with the help of AI, prepare for doctor visits, and connect with a community of women going through the same thing.

PeriSlayer is not a medical device, and nothing in the app or on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our AI insights, symptom guidance, doctor reports, tips, community posts, horoscopes, podcast, and Pilates guidance are for information, encouragement, and the occasional laugh. Always talk to a qualified clinician about your health, especially anything new, severe, or worrying. Never delay seeking medical care because of something you read in PeriSlayer. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number right away.

Section 2. Who can use PeriSlayer

PeriSlayer is designed for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account, and the app is not directed at anyone under 18. By creating an account, you confirm the information you give us is accurate and that you are using the app for yourself.

Section 3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything that happens under your account. If you believe someone else has accessed your account, change your password and contact us at moc.reyalsirep@ollehhello@perislayer.com. You can delete your account at any time inside the app (More, then Settings, then Delete my account) on iPhone or Android. Deletion is permanent and removes your account and your data from our systems, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Section 4. Your health data

Your symptom logs belong to you. We store them privately, use them only to power your own insights and reports, and never sell them or share them with advertisers. The details live in our Privacy Policy at perislayer.com/privacy, which is part of these terms.

If you connect Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), PeriSlayer only reads the data you allow, and only to pre-fill your daily check-in. That data comes from other apps and devices, so it may be incomplete or inaccurate. Please review pre-filled values before you save. You can turn this connection off at any time.

Section 5. The community (Peri-Pals)

Peri-Pals is our in-app community. It works because members keep it safe, honest, and kind. By posting, you agree to the following:

• Be real, be kind. No harassment, hate speech, bullying, threats, or shaming.
• No medical advice. Share your experience ("this helped me") rather than instructions ("stop taking your medication").
• No spam, advertising, or self-promotion.
• No sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Protect privacy: yours and everyone else's. Post under your community nickname, and do not share other members' information outside the community.

Anything you post can be seen by other PeriSlayer members. You own the content you post, and you give PeriSlayer a license to display it within the app and operate the service. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content: we may review posts, remove any post, and suspend or ban any account that breaks these rules, at our sole discretion and without notice. You can report any post or block any member directly in the app, and a person at PeriSlayer reviews every report.

Section 6. AI insights

PeriSlayer uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude, processed through our secure server) to summarize your data, surface patterns, share general guidance about symptoms, and generate content like Peri-Scope. AI can be wrong, incomplete, or overly confident. Treat its output as a starting point for your own judgment and your conversations with your doctor, not as a conclusion. AI features require a signed-in account and are rate-limited (for example, one full analysis per day) to keep the service fair and available.

Section 7. Doctor reports

PeriSlayer can create a PDF report from your own logs to help you prepare for appointments. The report reflects only what you logged and what the app calculated from it. It is not a medical record or a diagnosis. You decide whether and with whom to share it.

Section 8. Peri-Scope, Peri-Cast, and links

Peri-Scope horoscopes are for entertainment only and are not predictions or advice. PeriSlayer also links to outside services, such as Spotify for our podcast and playlists, YouTube, and social media. We do not control those services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Section 9. The Pilates program

The optional Pilates program offers general wellness and movement guidance from a Pilates professional. It is not medical care, physical therapy, or personal training tailored to your medical conditions. Check with your clinician before starting any new exercise program, and stop any movement that causes pain, dizziness, or heavy bleeding. You participate at your own risk. Information is shared with our Pilates professional only after you explicitly consent in the app, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Section 10. Beta versions

During beta (including TestFlight on iPhone and testing tracks on Google Play), PeriSlayer is a work in progress. Features may change, break, or disappear, and although we work hard to protect your data, beta software can misbehave. Beta access is provided as-is, may be limited or ended at any time, and may not be available in future versions. Feedback you send us during beta can be used to improve PeriSlayer without obligation to you.

Section 11. What you agree not to do

• Do not use PeriSlayer for anything illegal.
• Do not try to break, overload, probe, or bypass our security, rate limits, or access controls.
• Do not scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users.
• Do not reverse engineer, copy, resell, or build a competing service from the app or its content.
• Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with PeriSlayer.

Section 12. Fees, subscriptions, and founding members

PeriSlayer is currently free during beta. Some features may become paid features in the future.

• Founding members: everyone who creates a PeriSlayer account during our beta is a founding member. Founding members keep full access to PeriSlayer free of charge, including features that later become paid, for as long as we operate PeriSlayer.
• Subscriptions: if you buy a subscription, pricing and billing terms will be clearly shown before you pay. Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your Apple or Google account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
• We will never quietly charge you.

Section 13. App stores

If you download PeriSlayer from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and PeriSlayer LLC only, not Apple or Google. PeriSlayer LLC, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the app, its content, maintenance, support, and any claims relating to it. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide support for the app. Your use of the app must also follow the app store's own terms of use. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you as they relate to the iPhone app.

Section 14. Our content and trademarks

The PeriSlayer app, website, design, copy, and logo belong to PeriSlayer LLC. PERISLAYER and "Because nobody warned us" are trademarks of PeriSlayer LLC. You may not use our name, logo, or content to suggest a partnership or endorsement without our written permission.

Section 15. Disclaimers

PeriSlayer is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that insights, patterns, reports, imported health data, or any other output will be accurate or useful for your situation.

Section 16. Limit on our liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, PeriSlayer LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of PeriSlayer. To the extent any liability is not excluded, our total liability for all claims combined is limited to the greater of fifty dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Section 17. Ending things

You can stop using PeriSlayer or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, harm other members, or create legal or security risk for the service. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (like sections 14 through 19) do survive.

Section 18. Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we will update this page, change the date at the top, and note the change in the app or by email. Continuing to use PeriSlayer after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Section 19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you live outside the United States, you may also have rights under your local consumer laws that these terms cannot take away.
