PeriSlayer Terms of Service

Section 1. What PeriSlayer is, and what it is not

PeriSlayer is a wellness app. It helps you track perimenopause symptoms, spot patterns with the help of AI, prepare for doctor visits, and connect with a community of women going through the same thing.

PeriSlayer is not a medical device, and nothing in the app or on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our AI insights, tips, community posts, horoscopes, and Pilates guidance are for information, encouragement, and the occasional laugh. Always talk to a qualified clinician about your health, especially anything new, severe, or worrying. Never delay seeking medical care because of something you read in PeriSlayer.

Section 2. Who can use PeriSlayer

PeriSlayer is designed for adults. You must be at least 16 to create an account, and the app is not directed at children. By creating an account, you confirm the information you give us is accurate and that you are using the app for yourself.

Section 3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything that happens under your account. If you believe someone else has accessed your account, change your password and contact us at moc.reyalsirep@ollehhello@perislayer.com. You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Settings, then Delete my account). Deletion is permanent and removes your account and your data from our systems, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Section 4. Your health data

Your symptom logs belong to you. We store them privately, use them only to power your own insights and reports, and never sell them or share them with advertisers. The details live in our Privacy Policy at perislayer.com/privacy, which is part of these terms.

Section 5. The community (Peri-Pals)

Peri-Pals is our in-app forum. It works because members keep it safe, honest, and kind. By posting, you agree to the following:

• Be real, be kind. No harassment, hate speech, bullying, threats, or shaming.
• No medical advice. Share your experience ("this helped me") rather than instructions ("stop taking your medication").
• No spam, advertising, or self-promotion.
• No sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Protect privacy: yours and everyone else's. Post under your community username, and do not share other members' information outside the forum.

You own the content you post, and you give PeriSlayer a license to display it within the app and operate the service. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content: we may remove any post and suspend or ban any account that breaks these rules, at our sole discretion and without notice. You can report any post or block any member directly in the app, and we review reports promptly.

Section 6. AI insights

PeriSlayer uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude, processed through our secure server) to summarize your data, surface patterns, and generate content like Peri-Scope. AI can be wrong, incomplete, or overly confident. Treat its output as a starting point for your own judgment and your conversations with your doctor, not as a conclusion. AI features require a signed-in account and are rate-limited to keep the service fair and available.

Section 7. The Pilates program

The optional Pilates program offers general wellness and movement guidance from a Pilates professional. It is not medical care, physical therapy, or personal training tailored to your medical conditions. Check with your clinician before starting any new exercise program, and stop any movement that causes pain. You participate at your own risk. Information is shared with our Pilates professional only after you explicitly consent in the app, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Section 8. Beta versions

During beta (including TestFlight), PeriSlayer is a work in progress. Features may change, break, or disappear, and although we work hard to protect your data, beta software can misbehave. Beta access is provided as-is, may be limited or ended at any time, and may not be available in future versions. Feedback you send us during beta can be used to improve PeriSlayer without obligation to you.

Section 9. What you agree not to do

• Do not use PeriSlayer for anything illegal.
• Do not try to break, overload, probe, or bypass our security, rate limits, or access controls.
• Do not scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users.
• Do not reverse engineer, copy, resell, or build a competing service from the app or its content.
• Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with PeriSlayer.

Section 10. Fees

PeriSlayer is currently free during beta. Some features may become paid features in the future. If that happens, pricing will be clearly shown before you pay, and payments will be handled through Apple's App Store system under Apple's terms. We will never quietly charge you.

Section 11. Our content and trademarks

The PeriSlayer app, website, design, copy, and logo belong to PeriSlayer LLC. PERISLAYER and "Because nobody warned us" are trademarks of PeriSlayer LLC. You may not use our name, logo, or content to suggest a partnership or endorsement without our written permission.

Section 12. Disclaimers

PeriSlayer is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that insights, patterns, or any other output will be accurate or useful for your situation.

Section 13. Limit on our liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, PeriSlayer LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of PeriSlayer. To the extent any liability is not excluded, our total liability for all claims combined is limited to the greater of fifty dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Section 14. Ending things

You can stop using PeriSlayer or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, harm other members, or create legal or security risk for the service. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (like sections 11 through 16) do survive.

Section 15. Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we will update this page, change the date at the top, and note the change in the app or by email. Continuing to use PeriSlayer after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Section 16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
