PeriSlayer Privacy Policy
Your health data is yours. Full stop.

PeriSlayer is a perimenopause symptom-tracking app operated by PeriSlayer LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("PeriSlayer," "we," "us"). Because you trust us with sensitive health information, this policy explains in plain English what we collect, how we use it, and what we will never do with it.
The short version: your symptom data is stored privately, visible only to you, used only to power your own insights, and never sold, never shown to advertisers, and never shared except as described below. PeriSlayer provides supportive insight, not medical advice.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address and a password, used to create and secure your account.
- Profile details you choose to provide: such as your first name, age range, and menopause stage. These personalize the app.
- Your daily health logs: the symptoms, ratings, cycle details, lifestyle factors, and notes you record. This is the heart of the app and the most sensitive data we hold.
- Analysis results: summaries and insights generated from your logs, saved so you can review them and share them with your doctor if you choose.
- Feedback you send us: if you use the in-app feedback form, we receive your message, the app version, and an optional contact email if you provide one.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics trackers.
Apple Health
PeriSlayer can optionally read two things from Apple Health, with your permission: your sleep hours and your menstrual flow. This is read-only. PeriSlayer never writes anything back to Apple Health, and never changes or deletes what is there.
We use this only to pre-fill your daily check-in so you type less. The values become part of your own entries and are treated exactly like data you typed yourself. We do not use Apple Health data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we never share it with third parties for marketing.
You grant this access in Apple's own permission screen and can withdraw it at any time in the iOS Health app under Sharing, or by disconnecting inside PeriSlayer. Turning it off stops all future reading immediately.
How your data is stored
- Your logs are stored on your device and synced to your private, secured cloud account so a lost phone does not mean lost data.
- Cloud storage is protected by row-level security: each account can only ever access its own data. Data is encrypted in transit.
- Our cloud infrastructure is provided by Supabase, a professional database and authentication service.
How AI insights work
When you run an AI analysis, a summary of your tracked data is processed by Anthropic's Claude, an AI service, through our secure server. This generates your personal summaries and pattern insights. Your data sent for this purpose is not used by Anthropic to train its AI models. AI requests require a signed-in account and are rate-limited to protect the service.
The Pilates program (optional)
If you choose to join the Pilates program, and only after you explicitly consent in the app, we share a summary of your patterns, your first name, age range, and menopause stage with the PeriSlayer Pilates professional so she can build your routine. Your day-by-day logs and notes are not shared. You can decline the program entirely and the app works exactly the same.
Who else touches your data
We use a small number of professional service providers, each only for its specific job:
- Supabase: secure database, account sign-in, and server functions.
- Anthropic (Claude): AI processing for your insights, as described above.
- Resend: delivers account emails (like sign-up confirmations) and feedback messages.
- Apple: app distribution through the App Store and TestFlight.
We never sell your personal or health data. We never share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use it for marketing to you or anyone else.
Your choices and rights
- You can edit or delete any daily entry at any time inside the app.
- You can sign out at any time; your synced data remains protected in your private account.
- You can request a full export or complete deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@perislayer.com. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists, so your long-term patterns stay useful to you. When your account is deleted, your health logs, analysis snapshots, and profile are permanently removed from our systems.
Not medical advice
PeriSlayer offers supportive, educational insight built from your own data. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk with a qualified clinician about your health, especially anything new, severe, or worrying.
Children
PeriSlayer is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we will update this page and the effective date above, and note the change in the app. We will never quietly weaken the promises on this page.
